❓ What is Kambô and is it safe?
Kambô is the secretion of the Amazonian tree frog Phyllomedusa Bicolor. It has been used for centuries by indigenous tribes for healing, cleansing, and spiritual resilience. When administered properly by a trained practitioner, Kambô is safe. I always prioritize harm reduction, informed consent, and provide a safe, supportive environment.
❓ How should I prepare for a Kambô ceremony?
- Fast for 6–8 hours before your session (water only).
- Avoid alcohol, heavy meals, and recreational substances at least 24 hours prior.
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- Bring a water bottle, journal, and an open heart.
Before your first session, I’ll provide a complimentary consultation to ensure you’re fully prepared.
❓ What can I expect during a ceremony?
A ceremony includes:
- Intention setting
- Kambô application (and optional Sananga or Hapé)
- Guided support through the experience
- Integration afterward
The ceremony typically lasts 2.5–3 hours. While it can be physically and emotionally intense, many people describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected than ever before.
❓ What does Kambô feel like?
Every person’s experience is unique. Common sensations include warmth, tingling, nausea, purging, and emotional release. These effects are temporary and part of the cleansing process. Afterward, most people report clarity, peace, energy, and deep calm.
❓ Do I have to purge?
Purging is common but not required for a meaningful experience. Kambô works differently for everyone. Some people experience strong physical cleansing, while others experience emotional release, mental clarity, or energetic shifts.
❓ Is Kambô a psychedelic?
No. Kambô is not a psychedelic and does not produce hallucinations or altered visual states. Most people remain fully aware and present throughout the ceremony.
❓ How long do the effects last?
The most intense physical effects typically pass within a short period during ceremony. Many people report feeling increased clarity, focus, energy, emotional release, or a greater sense of well-being in the days and weeks that follow.
❓ Can anyone sit with Kambô?
Kambô is not for everyone. Certain health conditions (such as heart issues, low blood pressure, or pregnancy) may make it unsafe. This is why a complimentary consultation and a pre-screening is required before your first ceremony. Together, we’ll determine if Kambô is right for you.
❓ What’s the difference between a private ceremony and womb healing?
- Private Ceremony: Personalized Kambô session open to anyone, focused on cleansing, clarity, and healing.
- Womb Healing Ceremony: Designed specifically for women’s wellness, ancestral connection, and womb health. Offered only after at least 2 prior Kambô sessions.
❓ What happens after a ceremony?
Integration is just as important as the ceremony itself. After your session, I provide:
- 30 minutes of guided integration immediately following
- Up to 3 weeks of support (via text/email)
- Tools, journaling prompts, and practices to bring your insights into daily life
❓ How many Kambô sessions do I need?
Every person is different. Some people experience significant shifts after a single session, while others choose to work with Kambô over a series of ceremonies. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your goals and determine the most aligned approach for you.
❓Where are ceremonies held?
Private Kambô ceremonies are offered in Lake Havasu City, Arizona either in my healing space or, in some cases, at a client’s home when an appropriate setting is available.
Group ceremonies, workshops, and Women’s Healing Circles are held in carefully selected wellness, temple, or community spaces throughout Lake Havasu and surrounding areas.
Specific location details are provided upon registration or scheduling.
